No combinations are certified as fully compatible. Matching socket, processor family and memory standards does not establish a supported firmware revision, full platform compatibility or successful operation. The preliminary matrix is based on the five listed reference models, not the whole market.

Why a matching socket is still conditional

The motherboard's exact processor support table, installed BIOS revision, memory QVL, electrical and thermal constraints can determine whether a system will actually boot and operate reliably. A shared platform name alone cannot establish any of them. AMD documents the BIOS risk explicitly in its BIOS compatibility guidance.

For a potential build, first verify your motherboard's exact product revision and CPU-support page. Then check firmware and RAM. Finally, examine case fit, cooling and power before ordering.

How results are derived

The preliminary engine compares three independent pieces of manufacturer-documented metadata: physical socket, broad supported CPU family and RAM generation. All three must agree to produce a conditional candidate. An explicit mismatch produces a conflict. Missing evidence would be reported as unverified rather than silently treated as a match.
